Corporate identity project for a night club and restaurant in New York City - Moscow. The idea for this client was to unite a traditional, recognizable image of Moscow with the trendy feeling of the New York night life. We chose a horseshoe for the logo for several reasons: because in both Russian and American cultures it is believed to bring a good luck, because one of the rooms of the restaurant is decorated with a big collection of horseshoes, and last, but not least, because it is a simple, but memorable symbol. For all the items of the corporate identity package we used red, black and gold as contrasting, bright colors, which also often used for the depiction of the Kremlin and golden churches of the Russian capital.
